Copyright and Plagiarism

With information so readily available to everyone, copying and plagiarizing others peoples work seems to be increasing. There are websites dedicated to stopping copyright infridgement and plagiarism. There are also websites dedicated to providing content to anyone willing to pay (reports, term papers, book reviews, etc.). Educators and students need to be aware of copyright laws and the consequences from infringing on someones rights.

Fair Use Laws provide educators some lieniency on copyright laws for educational purposes, but many educators still need to understand what is acceptable under the law.
